Hairdresser
Position: Hairdresser / Barber
Location: Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center
Schedule: One day per week, approximately 5–10 hours per week

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and compassionate licensed hairdresser/barber to provide hair care services to our residents one day per week. The hairdresser will provide professional haircuts, styling, and basic grooming services in a comfortable and respectful environment.
ResponsibilitiesProvide haircuts, trims, styling, and other basic hair services requested by residents.
Provide services with patience, kindness, and respect for each resident's preferences and abilities.
Communicate appropriately with residents, families, and nursing home staff.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
Clean and disinfect tools and equipment between residents and follow facility infection-control requirements.
Work safely around residents who may have mobility limitations or other special needs.
Keep track of services provided and any applicable charges.
Maintain professional boundaries and resident confidentiality.
Follow all applicable state licensing and facility requirements.
Current cosmetology/barber license in good standing, as applicable.
Previous experience working with older adults is preferred but not required.
Reliable and able to commit to working one scheduled day each week.
Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with elderly residents.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work independently and manage appointments/services efficiently.
Must be willing to follow the nursing home's safety, sanitation, infection-control, and resident-care policies.
Compensation and payment arrangements will be discussed with qualified applicants.
